The University of Toledo is designed with working or busy adult learners in mind. Learn on your own schedule and take online courses whenever you want, wherever you want.

UToledo Online programs are convenient, flexible and 100% online, allowing you to continue working your usual schedule while completing your degree. The majority of our online classes are offered asynchronously. That means there is no scheduled time for a class meeting, so you can complete coursework at whatever time of day is convenient.

You will also learn from the same world-class faculty who teach our on-campus students and receive the same high-quality learning experience.

Resources to support you

The University of Toledo is a large, public research university. That means we have the resources and staff to fully support our online students.

• • Admissions and Onboarding support

    • Online students will work with a UToledo Online admissions counselor from inquiry to acceptance, receiving program information, application assistance and answering any questions.

  • Academic advising

    • Online students will work with a UToledo Online advisor for one to three semesters of their online program for educational options, course selection, transitioning to academic majors and program requirements.

  • Academic support services

    • University Libraries
      
      • Assists students with books, articles and other resources.
    • The Writing Center
      • Supports student writers in all disciplines and at all levels of study. 
        
    • Rocket Career Services
      • Assists students with major and career exploration and offers programs, services and events related to career and professional development.

  • Technical Support Services
