Details about the program
The Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision program is designed to prepare effective school administrators for Ohio’s schools grades PK to 6, grades 4 to 9, or grades 5 to 12. Students in the program earn a master’s degree and complete requirements for an Ohio principal license.
The master’s degree is a 30 credit-hour program. Students take courses in educational administration as well as foundational courses in education. Students are mentored in school settings as they develop as effective leaders and administrators. The program culminates with the completion of a master's project or thesis. Coursework is completed online, with both synchronous and asynchronous class activities.
Applicants who have a desire to obtain a principal license in the State of Ohio, but have already earned a master's degree in an education related field, are directed to apply to the Principal Licensure Graduate Certificate.
