Cannabis Management Graduate Certificate

The online graduate certificate in cannabis management at The University of Toledo provides a depth of knowledge on cannabis, ranging from basic science to production to entrepreneurship.

Students will be able to learn about the characteristics of the plant as a product, identify key market sectors, and become an expert in the science behind cannabis.

The certificate consists of four courses:

      Become familiar with the legal environment cannabis businesses operate within and explore the ethics surrounding the legalization of cannabis in the United States.
    • Cannabis Entrepreneurship
      Focus on the entrepreneurial environment and opportunities of cannabis, including procedures at the state level.
    • Cannabis Science – Plants and Products
      Gain an understanding of the plants, ingredients, products, and processes involved in industrial pharmaceutics.
    • Cannabis Science – Benefits and Risks
      Identify and evaluate the opportunities and challenges associated with medical and recreational use of cannabis products and preparations.
