Graduate Certificate

The Certificate in Higher Education Administration is designed for students interested in studying institutional administration and higher education learning environments. Courses focus on the administration, governance and operation of institutions of higher education, as well as student growth and the creation of beneficial learning environments for all members of the academic community.

Students will learn the following concepts:

• • Promote Student Growth. Identify individual interventions to promote student growth that are based on current research.
  • Follow Law and Policy. Identify individual interventions to promote student growth that are based on current research.
  • Interpret Governance Structures. Interpret administrative, governing and leadership structures to guide professional practice and problem solving.

Coursework includes four online courses: two selected from the Institutional Administration category and two selected from the Learning Environments category.
