Details about the program:
The online master’s degree in higher education at The University of Toledo is geared toward professionals working in colleges and universities and individuals interested in pursuing careers in these settings.
The program has a general higher education administration focus to develop a deep understanding of higher education administration issues and practices. Our goal is to prepare students for entry- and mid-level positions in administration and professional staff roles.
The program offers rolling admissions and can be completed in as little as six semesters and may begin at any point in the course rotation. Seven-week courses are offered back-to-back. Students who work full time typically take two courses per semester.
Students who have no prior experience in higher education are highly encouraged to
take a practicum course to gain hands-on work experience in a college or university
setting.
